No nudity, no paint can, no drama—what kind of PETA ad is this?
Glee‘s Lea Michele stars in the animal rights group’s latest anti-fur video, and it’s a much less shocking approach than the organization’s I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur campaign.
Instead of taking it all off, the 23-year-old actress is fully clothed, cuddling a sweet pup named Sailor in front of a school building backdrop. “With so many fashionable, cruelty-free options available, there’s really no excuse for wearing someone else’s coat,” she calmly implores.
Killing ‘em with kindness (no pun intended)…We like that approach.
Fox’s hit show Glee has been off the air since December, but when it returns next month, it will make up for lost time with a tribute to the great Lady Gaga.
Creator Ryan Murphy said, “We’re doing an episode as a tribute to theatricality. We reached out to Lady Gaga and she said, ‘Yes, I’d love to be a part of it.’
“So yes, we will be doing Lady Gaga this season.”
We can only hope for a full-length cover of her “Telephone” video, complete with ridiculous costumes and references to her alleged hermaphrodite status.
Glee has its work cut out to do this justice!
Whether that means you’ll see Lady Gaga on Glee personally is unclear, but at the very least, the show will be basing an episode around the “Bad Romance” songstress.
Last year, Gaga was the subject of an entire episode of Gossip Girl, and helped craft an “epic performance art piece” for the series. So you never know what’s in store.
Madonna famously gave Glee license to cover her entire catalog, and the hit show is so sought after by aspiring singers, some American Idol vets are getting negged.
Not everyone’s game, though. Coldplay and Bryan Adams said no to having their songs covered on it. Because Bryan Adams has an impeccable reputation to protect?

We can’t say we’re disappointed!! We can’t wait to watch the super SEKS Mr. Schu get his FREAK on.

I’m calling this second chapter ‘Nothing Is As It Seems.’ I feel like we set everybody up, and everybody thinks they know who they are and now everyone is reversing on each other. It’s going to surprise fans.”

We may have finally found an issue on which Democrats and Republicans can agree:
Michelle Obama has invited the Glee cast to the White House because she’s a big fan of this Fox musical comedy. Entertainment Weekly says the show is ready to accept an invitation to sing at the annual Easter Egg hunt on the residence’s front lawn.
It will take place on April 5.
As far as we know, Glee has never featured a Down’s Syndrome character whose mother is the former Governor of Alaska.
So Sarah Palin will need to find something else about the show to pretend to be offended by in order to remain in the news. The series actually does depict a knocked-up teenager.
Perhaps Palin can get riled up over the fact that the character’s mother isn’t forcing her daughter to fake an engagement to her deadbeat boyfriend because it would make for good politics. We mean, seriously. What kind of an example of Glee is trying to set?!?
What a trooper!
Lea Michele, known around the world now for her role in Glee, has been suffering through some rough routines as the rehearsals have left her with damaged back muscles.
Um, aren’t you only 23? Is this normal for someone so young? We don’t think so!
Rather than take it easy for awhile, Lea is forging ahead with the show, as she says the experience is worth dealing with the pain for. She explains:
“We all did this one dance number a couple of weeks ago that was extremely gruelling. Now I have back spasms every so often. I’ll be talking and be like, ‘Excuse me a minute,’ and my back will just spaz out. And then I’ll be fine. But we ignore it because we’re all just happy doing what we do. We don’t pay attention to our injuries.”
You’re going to pay for that later, bb! We think once the show goes on hiatus and before you go on tour, you should take some much needed rest. Let that back of yours enjoy a relaxing afternoon or seven.
And speaking of that Glee tour you and Cory Monteith mentioned a month ago and have not talked about since, keeping fans anxiously waiting for news while also finding a way to cope with the show not even being on the air – when is it????
How are they going to give the cast storylines with this many effing celebrity guest stars?!
Julia Roberts, who just finished Eat, Pray, Love with Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, reportedly approached him and the cast at the Golden Globes and tried to pitch them ideas for a part for her to play on the hit series!
And even more amazing?? According to Jane Lynch, she wants to play a friend of the bitch-tastic, HIGHlarious Sue Sylvester!
We’ll see if it actually happens, we all know that Julia was knocking them back at the Golden Globes Mariah Carey style, so she could just have been letting the grey goose champagne do the talking. Anyone who’s seen Everyone Says I Love You knows she can’t sing for the life of her!!
Still, it’d be awesome to see Julia on the small screen getting into all kinds of mischief with our beloved Sue!! We’ll keep our fingers crossed!!
